hey guys im in the middle of cutting my faceplate for the psp flipscreen i wont post pics yet coz it looks like a bit of a mess :P anyways ill update this soon and cant wait to finish i just have to let my dremel cool down it was really hot it burnt my hand

oh yhea thats cool im makin a flip screen too im about 80% done im just haveing complications now with my screen not worling unless its properly seated in psp i think i bent the cable around too much

well watching movies,i have a keyboard where the screen was makes room for some other small mods too and just to look cool same reason ppl do led mods so much, all it really dose is drain battery

If the ribbon was long enough/bundled up in a tube wire, this could seriously increase PSP's durability. Add a layer of something to the front and the back of the screen and then just flip open when you wanna use it/like you guys said, for movies, etc.

I'm sure the savviest folk could incorporate a sleep mode/power switch into this whole idea.

i mean like a switch to turn off screen when its folded down? good idea. im kinda haulted in progress my boss gave me 7 psp to fix today so im trying to get them out asap cus i need the money

hmm, sounds pretty cool, but jw this is like a cell phone that flips open? the screen is folded in the psp so you cant see it but then you fold it up? does seem like a good idea but you might have some problems because if the screen isnt fitted in correcly the screen will like mess up (like a bunch of colored lines up and down and thats it, i cant explain good lol) if that keeps hapening you might damge the screen perminitly because i did that to mine and now the screen is like color blind :P

okayyyy....... it is protecetd when it is closed and it doesnt just flop around like VoXs its holded in so u can only. and the only reason i stateed to do this mod was i tought it maybe could help ford out heres a pic of the faceplate vut :

ok thats cool idk if u do one too thank you for acnolaging that i brought this idea up to u. i really woulda been upset if 2 other flip screens came out the same time as mine and they said they didnt know i was doing one cus we talked in chat bout this alot. and its folk lol.
