Hey folks. I thought Id pop by to show you guys a mod I did a while back.

This is basically how I think the xbox controller should have been in the first place. Its way more comfortable now and my gaming has improved too.

Its pretty obvious from the pics what Ive done. I moved the right hand stick to be level with the left and moved all of the buttons to the back. I happy with the way it came out.

Thanks everyone.

Modding the case wasnt to difficult. What I did was cut out the stick housing and tidy it up a bit, then cut away the whole button area. The stick part fitted quite snug into the space left by the buttons. Then I glued some plastic to the inside of the case covering the wholes and used air drying filler over the whole thing. Sand down and paint. An bobs your mothers brother.

I am now on the look out for some pics that I took when I made it. Stay tuned. Also got a couple of modded psp to show if I can find some time to take a few pics.

i agree wit matt, poc, and now u need to rewire the chatpat some how cuz it will cover up some of the buttons, but i guess u dont need it lol

it was a little bit different (abxy buttons were on different places) but it still looks nice though!!

Sweet. Thats a cool site and the cementers where kind too. Makes a refreshing change. I suppose I should write a tutorial for anyone that wants to make it, but to be honest I really dont fancy opening it up again. It took a little while to bed in so that the right stick moved smoothly. Maybe I'll make another one and take pics of that.

EDIT: lol, "cementers". That'll teach me not to use auto spell checking. Obvously I ment "commenters"

Well it seems like this mod has gone global. Judging by the 9000 views the threads got already, an the videos saying 18000 atm.
Youtube has a little feature where you can see the top 5 sites that have the vid embedded on them. Best one so far is a korean blog. The blogger for some reason changed my name to Mr Burns (lol!?!) and one of the commenters had this to say.

"That's weird when you press a button while moving xyab fecal coliforms, fecal coliforms isolated"

and

"Anal twist to the right thumb and xyab nureulsu?;"

got to love google translations.

I didnt think making the case was hard, Just wiring it etc
Oh man It needs some sanding in the first pic dude
