Post by: laxboy on March 13, 2010, 08:41:39 PM: Welcome to the new Modder For Hire section of Acidmods. This area has been revised to better suit our comunity. Please understand Acidmods takes no responsibility for private sales that take place in this forum. We have mealy put some rules in place to help protect you. please make sure to use the feedback system linked to everyones profile. There are now two member groups assigned to the MFH area.

The first is called MFH customers and is available to any member who has accepted the folowing rules, and will allow you to post a thread requesting a service or repair. you will only be allowed to reply to your own thread, or start a new one. to request access to this group https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;area=groupmembership;request=62 (https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;area=groupmembership;request=62)

The second group is the MFH group. these are the modders, members who have registered with the site and are allowed to reply to any request for mod or service. MFH rules:

1. All sales or services are private transactions and are in no way affiliated with Acidmods.com

2. when listing a request for work, please note the console title in brackets at the beginning of your title. This is to allow the MFH to quickly find the console he specializes in.

3. All sales or service details should be agreed upon before the items are paid for/shipped please specify the following:
list all mods
list time line
list price/payment method
list shipping preference
list any previous mods done to console
list existing condition IE. cracked screen, blown speaker, missing bezel etc.

4. All sales should include three pics of the job, one at receiving, one under construction, and one of packaging.

5. if for some reason a mod cant be completed in the agreed upon time, or at all, or if changes are made, post in thread for our records immediately. To save from disciplinary action.

6. If transactions are not completed as specified above, Acidmods.com will take no action to help.

7. If a transaction goes bad acidmods will attempt to contact the MFH using registered information on file, said information will only be released from Acidmods.com to the proper authorities proving jurisdiction.

8. If a MFH is unreachable for 30 days at registered contact info, Acidmods.com can release the registered info to conflicted party and at their discretion issue an IP ban from the site. Acidmods.com will not assume anyother responsibility or duty as a result of this transaction.
