You should never get anything labelled as R4, they are ALL cheap clones of other carts.
I have used the m3iZero in the past, it's not too bad, maybe a little slow at booting up. I have just bought a Supercard DSTwo, which boasts an onboard processor (I think 400mhz) and RAM. The software is not finished, but currently it can play commercial games, homebrew and even emulate a GBA. In the near future (hopefully) the processor and RAM will be used for video decoding, so there will be no need to convert to any weird format. a SNES emulator is on the way for it also.

There is no such best card. Everyone have best card and everyone other have something odd.. I have Supercard DSonei(http://eng.supercard.sc/ (http://eng.supercard.sc/)) with EOS and it is fine for me. Maybe mp3 player is little dificult to install, but i like it.. I buy it from some guy on local forum, but u can buy it wherever on net. Some people like AceKard too.. Make your choice..

For playing gba games, I would recommend the ez flash iv. While for playing DS roms, I would say dstwo or r4i gold 3ds.
