  • joec0x: as much as i really want the og 360 macro, im more or less only trying to get ahold of one to help convert BO2 macros to gpc. other than that, it would be a "collectible" more or less. i really appreciate that offer though! i know one person who might want it also
    June 01, 2017, 09:22:44 PM
  • Brian 503: Theres a lot of contributing factors mainly stagnit market also people wanted their controllers to maintain stock and the CM & console tunner has almost everything and more than the macro and beserker for a fourth of the price. I do have a brand new macro controller only used 5 times (less than 5 gours of play) ive been thinking of parting with. One of the tac switches sticks and i havent cracked the  warenty sticker to fix it. Its a simple miss alignment issue, easy fix. Its bone stock black in original box with the cd think ill sell it for 150$. If interested ill give u first picks if u want it and i could open it up and fix the switch or leave it as is with the warrenty sticker, but does no good as its neen in box for about 3 to four years. Anyway im probably going to post it on ebay if i dont hear anything for a month or so.

  • joec0x: i ended up finding the DL link by googling the 360macro. thank you though brian!
    June 01, 2017, 05:00:03 PM
  • Brian 503: Jim knows how to get a hold of oden. If all else fails u might want to try to find the cd that came with the macro controller, but again another long shot. Hopefully u can get ahold of oden.

  • Brian 503: Long shot but u could try opening a support ticket or try to pm  Jim Walker

Using mod tools to tweak the files installed on the Classic’s built-in storage, users are able to more than double the number of games installed on the retro system. Now, the modding tools have gotten a big update and it’s now possible to installed a crazy huge number of games — as in, the entire North American retail library of over 700 titles.

The go-to tool for NES Classic hacking is called Hakchi, and while the original release and subsequent 2.0 update helped popularize Classic modding, the newly launched Hakchi 2.11 is so, so much more powerful. Developed by emulation guru Cluster from the GBATemp forums, the new version of the software creates a folder system on the Classic to support a much, much larger number of games than before and turning the system into a true emulation powerhouse.

What’s even more impressive, the new mod is capable of running games from within zipped files, which saves a lot of space and allows for even more titles to be packed onto the system’s relatively modest ~300MB storage capacity.

The early errors associated with Hakchi — including the software’s pesky habit of throwing false positives on PC virus scanning — have been ironed out. The vast majority of users report a relatively seamless uploading procedure and flawless emulation of the games they’ve uploaded. That said, there are always a few titles that don’t play well with emulators, and some notable games like Battletoads require additional tweaking. Thankfully, the emulation community is extremely active and you can stay updated on patches for problem games on the Hakchi thread.

If you are not an Xbox preview member, you have only seen a small glimpse of things to come for Xbox one. If you are a preview member (beta tested) you have probably been frustrated the past few weeks with a very buggy UI. This weekend there was a new preview dash update that fixed most of the bugs and brings us much closer to a public release.

Things are shaping up nicely for the new xbox one experience with many new features and layout revisions to the UI that will make the xbox more convenient to use.  I cannot detail all of these revisions, but I will note a few that you may notice in the following videos that showcase the new UI. (Keep in mind, I fail at taking videos so they are not the best quality but this is just a sample.
A few new points I would like to point out are as follows:

1.   Backwards compatible games. Most of the 360 disk based games will be available by the end of the year. Many of them are ready to play now (after you reinstall them on the one) 360 arcade games are touch and go, I would state 80% of arcade games have been made available for download free of charge if you already own the game on the 360. (These show up in the “ready to install” area of the games and app screen.

When playing a 360 game, it is important not to go full screen on an xbox one app or progress will be lost (save, save often) while playing, pressing both start and back buttons at the same time will bring up the familiar 360 UI window for ease of use and game management.

2.   Button remapping. I have heard rumors of this on the PS4, but I don’t know the validity or extent. I can tell you and you will see in the video below that every face button can be remapped to another face button, dpad, or bumper. The triggers can be swapped, the sticks can be swapped, and the sticks can be inverted independent...
