CHANGES IN FINAL REVISION

- Changing the order of modes
- Fixed some bugs that slows performance
- Fixed some errors in programming mode LED 4
- Fixed Shot burst mode now work perfectly in Right and Left Triggers
- Added fast-forward and fast-rewind in programing mode

MODE 1: - Normal  Fire   - Gears of War 2 (Hammerburst)
MODE 2: - Normal  Fire   - Gears of War 2 (Pistol)
MODE 3: - Normal  Fire   - Modern Warfare 2
MODE 4: - 3 Shot Burst  - Modern Warfare 2
MODE 5: - Normal  Fire   - Black Ops
MODE 6: - 4 Shot Burst  - Black Ops
MODE 7: USER PROGRAMMABLE MODE Normal Cycle (Default Speed # 195 for HALO Reach)
MODE 8: USER PROGRAMMABLE MODE with Duty Cycle (Default Speed # 208 for Call of Duty 5)


SUPPORTED CONTROLLERS:
Matrix - Tested/Working
CG - Tested/Working
CG2 - Tested/Working



HOW TO USE

When the controller is powered on.. LED 3 & 4 flashed the number of last used mode.
Both rapidfire triggers will be OFF.
To turn on/off either of the rapidfire just give either tactile a quick press..
the corresponding LED indicator will light up.. indicating that rapidfire is on.

Change Next Mode:
Hold down right tactile.

Change Back Mode:
Hold down left tactile.

Custom Programming:
We need to be in MODO 7 or 8 so we want to programing.
Hold down right and left tactile at the same time for enter programing mode.
Left tactile subtract 1 Speed (More Slow)
Hold left tactile subtract 10 Speed (More Slow), Each flashing at the same time the LED 3 & 4 shall be subtract 10 Speed, release when we want to stop subtracting.
Right tactile add 1 Speed (More Fast)
Hold right tactile add 10 Speed (More Fast), Each flashing at the same time the LED 3 & 4 shall be add 10 Speed, release when we want to stop adding.
You can check the rates table (LED 3 & 4 indicate the speed), INCLUDED IN ZIP FILE

---------- YOU CAN CHECK THE SPEED ON REAL-TIME WITHOUT LEAVE ----------
To save and exit, Hold down right and left tactile at the same time.

OMG thank you!!!! :D this is the best code on this site!! right next to t0pfire's :) my friends say topfires is a little slow compared to what they see other players use but it seems fine for me :/ did you base your speeds and such off of t0pfire's as well?

EDIT: if any of the controllers i install this on are CG or CG2 ill use t0pfire's install diagrams and tell you if its working or not if someone does not beat me too it

EDIT2: t0pfire's code for me had this problem where it got all trippy if i used it while CHARGING like it would randomly aim or sometimes it would not go off of aim and some person shot me and looking at me aim the whole time. or it would shoot randomly (i got some kills like this but i dont like it) i dont know why it does that will reply if it does with this one too or its my install or what.

It would do that with almost all codes. When using the play and charge kit, the controller is using a higher voltage than with the batteries, so its gonna go a little screwy

   Yes this is for that chip. All of our rapid fire  codes  are for that chip.

Just Tryed out this code and its amazing and way better then t0pfire. I love how the burst modes dont require you to hold down the triggers. The blackops mode is very fast compared to other codes too.

i noticed the switched power source on the left side of the board that everyone uses for RF is no longer there on the new matrix. it might have switched power on the headset connector like the CG?

Wow, i just installed this on a cg2 pad, and I gotta tell ya...i'm impressed.  I have a viking legacy,flex,t0pfire, a gamermodz pad and another opensource hosted on another site, (lugnuts code) for the veterans here. This code is write up there with the best of them.  I have one question, do i need the 330ohm to the trigger pots, coz there is a couple of conflicting illustrations in regards to the install.  Anyway kudos to the author well done, and keep up the good work.

Hey sqs, love the code being playing bops all day today.  One small problem, your black ops mode gets mod blocked.  Particularly when you using m16 or g11, and also happened a few times with the fal.  Any chance you couls tweak it a little, maybe just a few sps slower.  Ps i am a cod fanatic and play a lot.

Ive never gotten blocked using this code on blackops. Maybe you should try using the user programmable mode.

Only thing to lose 1 or 2 sps, but could use the programmable mode with duty cycle, using 194 or lower speed with that is sure to solve the problem.

 If deemed necessary could then correct the program mode. Not the views of the rest of the people who to use.

To do this test speed in mode 8, the default speed is # 208.

Do you still have the spitfire code?
The spitfire code is basically useless now. It was one speed back when cod 4 was first released.  It also had the ability to change the mapping of some buttons.  I only have it on the chip (16f688) from memory, and I need a new program board.  King mike may have the original asm for it maybe, not sure, you would have to ask him.

Bops will detect anything over 8.94-9.00 sps.  So according to your sps table speed 200.

Het man spitfire was the pioneer of chip modded rapid fire controllers.  Then people like hazer started working there magic with 8 bit mcu's and walla, gameplay rf was born

One of the main reason's to keep perfecting the codes and adding more features, was to take away the market from the ebay c=nts, who were trying to profit from some peoples genuine interest in the area.

Try this HEX, mode 5 has the speed # 200

well no not really, you need 2 buttons, and also if you use the sync the controller will try and sync everytime you hold it to change mode

i keep having problems with this hex and topfire where as soon as i turn the rapid fire on the controllers trigers just go nut and the lights flicker funny btw im using a cg2 controller

I think it's because it is similar to the topfire code.
The difference from topfire to this is very much, just take a look at the programmable modes and you'll know what I mean, the shots per round (3 or 5) also need some tweaks in the topfire code, I have personally used the HEX of t0pP8uZz and that is why I can assure you. But he has his deserved credit and because my idea was based on his work.

Was developing a HEX to PIC 16F688 which I intended to do with 16 modes contain perfect Activator Reload to GOW and Jitter MOD to MW, if I continue with this I will share with you, greetings.

Frosty if you want a drop shot just link some diodes, resistors and a tactile button up to the B button, RT and power.

Hi, I have some problems  when I tried to install this software in the Matrix controller, I have one CG1 and work perfectly, but in my Matrix, Leds has about 50% of normal light and I don't know what is happen, the original voltage is about 2v, but led normally need about 2,5v, anybody has any idea? thanks

I'm from Brazil and I have done several adaptations in my xbox 360 controls the various modes of rapid fire with the PIC12F683 microcontroller.

Hi all,

Many message request me an update, i can make a little update in default speed, shooting style (like: Normal, Duty cycle, Normal with 3 Shot Burst, etc.) in modes, What speed suggest?

Reply this message with your suggestion, like example below:

My idea for now is this, that people who have used this modification may suggest a new list including the speed that they consider good, obviously must be some speed they have tried before.

Mode 7 & 8 is not for burst but the speed in normal fire and burst is the same, you can find the best speed in the mode 7 or 8 only to make the list.

Sounds good, but you don't specify what mode need parchkiller (Duty Cycle) in each one, for example in COD BO 1 need duty cicle for a best speed, if you are tested this speed, do you tested in mode 7 or 8?

I think jozecuervoo's list is too much COD focused.

sQs's new list covers more shooters.

I personally like this code because it covers a wide range of games. I play GoW3, CoD and BF3. With other code's I need to reprogram every time is swith a game.

Ok, I know that my list is almost just for COD, but, you can use the adjustable mode 7 to play GoW series or Battlefield(I don't have it).

And about my list, I tested all the speeds with the mode 7. I have tested black ops 1 with the mode 8 and it didn't work good for me.


But I have another idea, what if all the modes were adjustables, lets say 6 programables modes

MODE 1 NORMAL CYCLE
MODE 2 NORMAL CYCLE
MODE 3 NORMAL CYCLE
MODE 4 NORMAL CYCLE
MODE 5 NORMAL CYCLE
MODE 6 DUTY CYCLE (for cod 5 and maybe someone will use this mode for testing).

Personaly, I don't like the burst modes, but if you want to add 1 mode with burst, it's ok for me.

Normal cycle 194 (23||3) did work better for me with Black Ops 2.

 Not sure if anyone has really got an answer but i read above that the 330 resistors are needed for CG and it shows in the diagram. To me it looks like only one? IS it to both triggers? The link above for installation does not show any 330ohm resistors for the CG board...which is why i am confused sorry for n00bish question just like to do things right the first time around.

For the CG instalation you only need a 100ohm resistor for the LED, for the MATRIX you need 1 330ohms resistors for each triggers and 1 100ohm resistor + 1 1N4148 diodes for each LED

      Well good deal wasn't to sure if he was working on a new code. I read all the posts and from what i got was he was taking personal requests for a certain hex people wanted. So sorry for my misunderstanding. Don't want people thinking i am unappreciative cause it is obviously over my head..lol. Only other mod i have used was the BMU3 where you could use the .ASM file to adjust it. lol Thanks all for the replies i will keep reading on and standing by with patience.

Ah, I know someone said the sweet spot for FAL and SMR was 8 sps. Bu ti am not sure if you made me a code with this hex. that skaled with 8 sps to 14 sps i could test andlet you know what ones where good and what ones where blocked? try and put a 9sps on the cycle duty that way i can see is the duty cycle makes a difference. If you want to . Not sure of any of the fire rates though.

I tested the FAL with Flex the fastest i could get was 12.82 SPS, hex value of 39. the duty cycle didnt make any difference, if anything it made it worse.

this is a great code man, keep up the good work. i am only having 1 little problem with it, every now and then it starts firing by itself and wont stop. i have to remove the battery 2 or 3 times to stop this from happening. when it start firing by itself its a slow sps but when i pull the trigger it jumps right up in speed. i have checked my controller for any pinched wired and double checked the setup but cant find any faults. i thought it was my play and charge kit so i tried it with normal batteries and still getting the same thing. still all in all a great code when its not going crazy. it is fitted in a matrix 2 by the way.

i keep having problems with this hex and topfire where as soon as i turn the rapid fire on the controllers trigers just go nut and the lights flicker funny btw im using a cg2 controller
same here, anybody know why this is happening? i am using a matrix 2 controller

i tried the new point but was not enough voltage from that point. i am still looking into alternative power points and a way to make it operate correctly.

I managed to run the code but it works backwards (LT and RT) takes all alone without pressing the trigger and when I press the rapid fire stops. Do you have a idea?

If you compare the voltages of the XB1(CG) triggers to the XB360(CG) triggers, the polarity is reversed.

So it's not surprising that it works opposite. But that's not the entirety of the problem.

The real problem is that the triggers for the XB360 are constantly being fed a voltage. So the mod can at anytime read the trigger positions.

With the XB1 though, the triggers are only fed a voltage when the controller wants to read them. If the mod tries to read when the  triggers aren't being powered then the mod will come back with a 0V which will likely trick it into thinking that the trigger is pulled (or in this case "released").

So there has to be something there to distinguish between a valid signal read and an invalid read(when the triggers are not powered).

of course I know very little about coding, but couldn't this be done by polling the trigger, then debounce and polling again until the voltage is present, then go into interrupt routine to fire.

I think that probably would work.

In my mind I'm thinking about the slew rate of Vout for the Hall. So if your algorithm was "look for any voltage over ~.25V" then as the Hall powers up and powers down you COULD get a voltage over .25V but not the true reading of the trigger (if you happened to read the triggers right then).

I was thinking something like "read the triggers twice in a row if the difference is less than X and the values are over .25V" then it's valid data.

...but I haven't tested it. I still might be missing something.
