That looks really nice. I like how the speakers are LEDs in it them and the way you mounted them. I'm gonna try that next time. Is the whole interior painted blue too?
BTW, we got the same mouse. Its awesome.

Man every time I see that PSP its like sexoneyeballs.

Gotta couple questions: What type of plastic did you use for the bottom slit, how exactly did you angle it, and for your internal SD memory card, did you wire the SD slot pins to the MSPD pins in order from pin 1 - 10?

the plastic is sorta rubbery. i cut the side off of my clear tool box (artbin) and its like sorta triangular so the door can open. like say its a [] i made it [\ (looking at the bar from the side view). and for the sd i just did the sd mod. its in the forum somewhere lol (psp ms slot > microsd to ms adapter > sdhc slot)

Where did you get the speakers?

And where did you put the internal SDCH card?

Hello
Really nice PSP Slim.
I have two questions:
- Must you cut hole in umd for go! cam ?
- Go! cam use normal usb port in psp, in the film I see, that You charge PSP by usb cable, but I can't see any switch to change between usb port/go! cam. Why ?

Sorry for my bad english

If you have no intention on using the USB port for file transfer, than you don't need a switch, and can still use it for power.

As for the hole, you will have to cut a hole depending on where you want the camera, or it won't be an effective internal camera.

Welcome to Acidmods

I was wondering the same thing.
I'm just about to make my camera internal also and was wondering if I needed a switch.
Thanks for clarifying, but one question.

When you plug in the camera it doesn't seem to do anything or realize that anythings plugged into the Mini-USB.
Only when you go to the camera feature does the PSP turn on the camera.
Also, when you have the Camera plugged into the PSP Mini-USB,
go to "USB Connection" the PSP says "connect USB Cable" even though the Camera is plugged into the PSP Mini-USB.

So do you really need a switch?
Is there a ground that the PSP would fry if "2" things were "plugged" into the same port?
It seems to me that there would be no way to use the USB to transfer files AND take pictures at the same time...

If I did this I wonder how silver in place of the white would look... is silver and blue a good combo..? or is white and blue still better?
Title: Re: cleaned up my psp :] (lots of pics)

White and blue easily.

Helps contrast the blue, and because there are no flects on the white compaired to the silver, your sight is focused more on the blue.

edit: wow dude you gotta slow down on the posting  :boxed:

As for the hole, you will have to cut a hole depending on where you want the camera, or it won't be an effective internal camera.

Welcome to Acidmods

DarkShot - Must you cut hole in UMD ? = Must you cut hole in psp body, not in umd door ?

anthonyta - How do you change source usb ? (usb port / go! cam).

anthonyta's PSP must access to file transfer by usb-cable, because PSP has internal SDHC 16GB mod, so anthonyta doesn't simple put off internal SD card.
isn't it ?

UV leds go really well on silver.

DarkShot - Must you cut hole in UMD ? = Must you cut hole in psp body, not in umd door ?

Yes, where ever you have the camera.

His is in the UMD door. If it were elsewhere, there would be a hole for it.

No I mean for color combos..

Like: Blue & White, Red & Black, Green & Black etc.

What goes good with a silver case?

Anyway great PSP dude, except for your average "official" PSP user it is useless even though cool for them usaless cause you would need CFW to still get the same enjoyment out of it - the UMD drive.

thanks for the comments guys.

for you guys that wanna know about how im switching between usb and the camera. i have 2 witches between the psp mobo and the go cam. 1 switch is a 3 position switch which is connected to the far left (green wire in the picture) so i can switch back and forth between the camera and usb charge.) and i have another dip switch just a simple on off switch (the purple wire is in the picture) to enable me to be able to use the usb to my internal 16gb. hope this helps out. i had to search for it myself.

thx anthonyta for ur comment
^_^
well.. the main difference when using this amp the speaker have stereo sound.
for me its louder and produce clear sound compared just direct solder to the speaker point.
the good side
+louder ( my mom even scold me bcoz the psp is noisy even when she is in the kitchen, which is 10 meters apart from me)
+clear, you can here nice treble sound on the vids
+good bass, you have to use a speaker that have good bass though. see how the orange led react to the bass sound, and completely off when no bass.

the bad side..
+the amp takes alot of space. you can do any other mod coz all of the space below the memory card holder are use up.
+battery last only around 2 hours =_="
+i actually have to make 2switch. 1 for the power source ( taking power directly to battery). and 1 more for the jack circuit, coz without this 2 switch the speaker will be on when plug it an earphone.

this vids is where i tried direct solder
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4vpRHY3zvM&feature=channel

this is when i 1st installed the amp
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27B-_qHX6oo&feature=channel_page
i notice when you close the umd door the sound is trapped inside ( and i know you have this problem too)
hear how the sound change when i change the equalizer

then i decided to make a hole and put steel net.
like you see on the black and orange psp like you see on above ^_^

and can i suggest sumthing?
you dont need to buy another ring. just remove the ring and drill 8 holes around where the ring used to be, like arioch_76.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhCCa9xucQs
then find a thin steel net (get it from old speaker cover). cut it so it will have the same shape as the ring. the glue it on top.

thanks for the comments guys.

for you guys that wanna know about how im switching between usb and the camera. i have 2 witches between the psp mobo and the go cam.
(https://acidmods.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pspgen.com%2F%7Estewart%2FPSP%2FImages%2Farioch_76%2F22.jpg&hash=7674ecd35fb622ddc4ff8070c98c11b0570b3d1c)

im gunna be doing dual nub soon. that will be my last mod for my psp. after that i moving on to cars. :D

Thank you so much for clarifying this! :)

lol why shouldn't they?

anthonyta's PSP freakin rocks, and everyone else thinks so too!

This is also helping give Acidmods 'publicity'.

Always nice to know someone's work is appreciated.

I got some doubts.
Did you buy or did you paint the PSP trim?
If you bought it I would ask where, but if you painted it could you tell me which type of paint did you use? Since it looks just like those sold in Coolmods.

I think he used a trim from a blue case (which is already painted metallic blue). DX have the cases, ebay used to sell the trims but i'm not sure if there there now. If you want to paint a set, use tamiya spraypaint and gloss.

could i use headphone speakers for that? and.. for the cam, does anyone have a vid for how to do that? i dont know if i could do it by myself without messing something up. and instead of buying go cam, couldnt you just solder in a camera from a cell phone? or no?

Really sorry to bring up old post, but with your internal sdhc mod did you have to solder an adapter or did you change the pins? any help or guidance will be great. noob at modding but good at soldering
