we havent really gotten to far yet. There was an article about how some ipod touches were comming in some wierd mode that you can see things and one of the catagories under it was bluetooth but whenever you touch it it says "nothing to see here" some modder has found a chip that he thinks may be a bluetooth chip that they will enable with a later firmware. It has no markings on it. So in short we havent figured it out yet but we think it may have it.

Thanks for the sig dhuvrock2000

no ther is no bluetooth chip in the touch and the reason the rumour started was becuase some arived with a debug firmware on it that was used for the iphone also in testing at apple so had the same bluetooth icons. in short there aint goin to be bluetooth in the iphone unless something like a pair of bluetooth earphones are modded into it like jair2k4 did with the psp

i am not responsible for what i do or my advice

Ok. Point blank, NO ITOUCH BLUETOOTH. The iTouch does not have the hardware to use bluetooth. Like Robin said, the only reason some people thought it did was because a few iTouches came with debug firmware. That firmware is the same on the iPhone and iTouch, therefore it had the bluetooth testing icon on there. That icon...did nothing, just as expected because there's no hardware for bluetooth.
