i think he put it in there to prevent from overheating (if the wii ever does) probably just for the cool looks though

if i could id put a fan too.ever since my case install th built in one doesnt wok and it gets pretty warm lol.

its a 1206 bulb led ....i got them from my local elektronikstore...

here it is ! THE UPDATE Nr. 2 !

I istalled all leds to the case (not connected to the system...just tested with a battery)

here are the pics: (now with a digital camera - no webcam

)

this side of the case looks pretty cool but.....the outside is really scratched and such thingg

have to paint it again...

People learn to right click on the image and select properties then cope and past the source.. I hate clicking on the thumbnails do to popups.. Or just use our very own gallery to upload your images....

Ok after a long time with less money and thousand trys of painting i decided to go a other way...
I will buy a clear case on coolmods.co.uk and go on working on the wii again...

btw i already reinstalled my ähhh yes u know what i mean

This Mod is awesome ...I just got a doubt...If the Chinese letters are supposed to show why can you see it? What are you trying to do with the Chinese letter?

Edit: BTW did you paint the dvd drive? Cause isn't it supposed to be gray? And now I see it black.

u can only see it from the downside of the wii

btw u need the metal plate to hold everything in place

OMG Heart attack!!!! I love it! Now this is sick!!!!
The way you did those leds flash to the wall looks so damn cool!!! usually people use leds just to light on and that's it but the position of the leds reflect perfectly to the wall!

And the good thing is not a flashy wii.
It's just pefect I would say.

its pretty easy...u screw the top screws out...
then remove the little board on the top...
now u can carefully lift the thing up...
remove all plastik parts and springs on it...but dont forget how they are sit in place...

NOW u got only the metal plate left and u can start painting !
