Help with PSP 3000 LED MODS(First time modder)
« on: June 25, 2012, 11:47:24 PM »
I recently got a hold of a psp 3000 and I need help with a lot of mods.

1. With the Memory card/Wifi Led swap
For both of these which is positive and which is negative?(I have soldering experience I can solder smd leds)

2.What LED is needed for Charge/Power
Also which is Positive and negative(I may not do this)

3. I NEED HELP WITH ALL THESE RESISTER ELECTRICAL STUFF!
All in all Im planning to put in 10 leds into my psp(All blue because I heard it requires the lease electricity there for less need for resistors)

I also need to know where to connect leds to (Besides speakers) and which is negative and positive... PICTURE WOULD BE HELPFUL THANKS ABUNCH!!!

1. to find their + and - you can use a volt meter to find out by touching the terminals in the led soldered on the PSP.

2. i wouldnt bother with that one since you have trouble finding + and - no offence.

3. i never used resistors with my leds on my psp's i had in the past, so no need to bother.

4. there are many diagrams on google with the + and - labeled on the board. just search "positive and negative terminals on psp board".
