Just a idea for changing out a M2 slot for a MicroSD
« on: October 02, 2009, 05:40:47 PM »
I'm sure somebody thought about this but I'm just wondering if it be possible for one of you god talented modders to remove the M2 memory stick socket on the GO for a microSD socket. Someone replaced the memory stick socket on a normal psp for a SD card slot why not do the same since MicroSDs cost so much less then m2 sticks an have a 16gb model avail for roughly 40bucks. Also I do not have a GO just a psp3k an curious about that possiblity of removing the M2 for a microSD.

PEACE!

it's possible.  We already have microsd to pro duo adapters and (I think) all we need to do is find out what pins connect to what in terms with pro duo to M2.  We did something similar with microsd to Sd so I'm sure it can be done.
