Playing backup Gamecube games on Wii without a disk?

My question is exactly the subject, how can I play backup Gamecube games on my Wii? I know you can burn the images to a DVD disk, but I want to play it off my SD card or Flash Drive, so is there any way to do this?

I don't know if the project has advanced that far yet. I think it's only discs so far.
