Ok guys we have Just updated the acidmods forum version and are awaiting a theme to be made so that we can look like we used to do - so this theme is a temporary measure i might try to find a temporary theme so that it isnt quite as bland as it was.

there are many improvements in this theme and we will be doing some work with setting etc to enable these new features.

please bare with us whilst we try to get it sorted and ready and if you find any bugs please don't hesitate to point them out in this topic

i know its all bland etc guys but i am working on it and trying my best

dont forget if some parts of the site are really weird like show up with black portions as though the old acidmods and this one were mixed its because of your cache so remember to empty your cache.

also there are new fields in your profile to put your gamertags and list some of your games, these parts of your profile are searchable using the member search feature under the members tab. this is basically what we were going to work on when we asked for beta testers. so now you can when people start to populate there profiles you will be able to search for fellow members who have the same games as you and play with them.

also if when writing a message or reply or a topic if you press this icon

it toggles the way the editor works between normal BBC view and a WYSIWYG editor

another thing you may notice which was requested a few weeks/months back was a title and now the site has a title so thats a bonus i think

i am really pleased with this new version and the new features and i think that the added security and features that it brings outweigh any problems with it and the current state of it not having a theme except the default SMF theme. but that should be remedied over the coming weeks as i am having our old theme remade so that it is compatible with this new smf version but that takes time so please be patient with me especially as i have university work as well.

I have a question
is there gunna be different themes for the new acidmods, because i dont like it...hurts my eyes

there are some nice parts butall together id rate it like

Its not a custom theme or "layout" its the default SMF Theme... There is a post in Rules and Announcements but... i guess your not bright enough to read it :3

btw if you want to test the gamer friend finder then go to the members search page and choose the search by 360 game and type halo 3 as the search query and it should find me.

if you want to fill out your profile area dont forget to separate the games by return in your profile e.g.

Halo 3
Gears Of War 2
Call Of Duty 4
Call Of Duty World at War
Guitar Hero World Tour

you get the idea and put your gamertags in there so that people can find you and buddy up with you by pressing the [Add To Buddy List] link in there profile

I personally liked the red acidmods theme. It was a little easier on my eyes.

This isnt a theme its jsut a place holder till the theme gets fixed, Surely that is clear as nothing matches thigns are jsut stuck on top of others and its broken in almost everyway, sheesh ¬_¬

LOL. I was about to go HOLY CRAP WHAT THE HELL ACIDMODS ISN'T ACIDMODS ANYMORE!!!! Then I realised it said UPDATED! Anyway, some things at the top should be centered, but I guess that doesn't really matter as this is temporary. Arg the whiteness is so... white! Lmao.

to be honest to you all .. i actually really like this new acidmods look.. it makes it easier on my eyes to see and read topics. i didnt really like dark themes . it makes it harder to seach or what your looking for .

but hey keep up the good work ....
