PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE PAGE BEFORE COMMENTING

  • To create you own backups of a game that you LEGALLY own, you must use a Samsung "kreon"(SH-D162C and  SH-D162D models) with a flashed firmware. or use the Samsung/Benq drive**(FW xtreme800 as per  Using A Ms28 For ripping )-thank you scott
  • To BURN the backups to a DL DVD, you must have a dvd burner that supports DL DVDs, you do not need any custom firmware on your burner.
  • To PLAY the backups on your console, you MUST have a flashed drive, i.e. iXtreme CFW

NOTE:

DL DVD is a DUAL LAYER DVD, it holds a capacity of 8.5GB.

Making and burning of game backups, that you dont own an original copy of is ILLEGAL, and punishable by law.

To flash your xbox 360's dvd drive, you must either have a Serial port, or a Serial ATA port(SATA)

YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED 1 BACKUP OF YOUR GAME, ANYMORE THAN ONE, AND IT IS ILLEGAL

Not entirely correct, There are multiple drives you can use.

Samsung and BenQ 360 drives in mode800 can also rip the games.

Heres a compatibility list:
Quote
Kreon (IDE =SH-D162C and TS-H352C; SATA =SH-D163A and TS-H353A) or Samsung/Benq drive**(FW xtreme800 as per  Using A Ms28 For ripping )

That is wrong, that is still illegal, even if you own the game, you are not allowed to download it, you must make your own copy.
