Just borken lcd screen clamp

Dam... any ideas on how to fix this? the clamp snapped in half

You need a new motherboard or new connector if you can solder it some how.

put a small piece of electrical tape ontop of the screen connector and gently force it into the slot, then get a pencil and use the eraser to gently push down on the gold pins once completed it should work just fine, you just wont be able to remove the screen again unless you do this method all over again

on top of the LCD ribbon, where you would usually plug in the LCD to the motherboard
