xx Duke Nukem Forever actually set to come out?! | 05 Sep 10
03:30:16 by Barnsey | Views: 114 | Comments: 2

Looks like Duke Nukem Forever is actually going to be released next year on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Sorry if I’m sceptical.

“Take Two Interactive Software pulled off one of the video game world's biggest surprises Friday, announcing not only that the over-a-decade-in-development first person shooter was nearly finished, but backing that claim up by giving the 150,000 people attending the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle the chance to play the game.

And while 3D Realms is no more, Gearbox Software, the studio behind "Borderlands" and "Brothers in Arms" (and staffed with a number of former 3DR employees), has taken over development on the game.
"Gearbox has enabled die-hard key Duke Nukem franchise builders and skilled veteran game makers to stand together and deliver," said Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox Software. "All gamers deserve a happy ending and after all of us gamers feeling the full range of emotions about Duke Nukem Forever, I am thrilled to be in a position with the trust, power and means to make it happen."

Hmm, don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see this come out. I just can’t see it ever happening. It seems to be one of those games that was never meant to be.

xx LaCie Packs An Elephant’s Memory into a MosKeyto | 04 Sep 10

Today LaCie spawns a new breed of USB key – the LaCie MosKeyto, an ultra–small flash drive that's anything but pesky. Joining LaCie's line–up of award–winning USB keys, MosKeyto ups the ante for power, portability and ease of use. LaCie MosKeyto measures less than 20mm and weighs 10 grams, making it one of the smallest USB keys on the market. Offering capacities up to 16GB, you'll be pleasantly amazed at how many bytes you can get from such a tiny MosKeyto.

The stealthy MosKeyto becomes nearly invisible when plugged into your computer, and can even travel alongside it in a protective sleeve or briefcase – just plug it, and forget it. Because it lies flush against your device, there is no risk of damage to the port, computer or key if the drive is knocked or bumped. Additionally, if it's in your laptop, you won't lose it.

So far the only way to get a white Xbox 360 slim has been to pre-order the halo reach bundle.
But in China some bright spark decided to paint a black one white.  Genius.
However it does post the question. Why hold back on the white?
